What is nHAp and why is it included?
nHAp stands for nano-hydroxyapatite, which is a mineral that your teeth naturally contain. When used in oral care, it acts similarly to fluoride by remineralizing and repairing the tooth surface. Emerging research suggests that nHAp is superior for remineralization and is among the best ingredient for reducing dentinal hypersensitivity.
How thick is this floss?
NanoFloss is designed with woven fibers at a thickness of 1000d. This means it is twice the thickness of most string floss and shred-resistant, so you can effectively remove plaque from between your teeth without breaking the floss.
Do I need to use string floss if I use a water flosser?
90% of cavities start between your teeth. Dentists call these interproximal cavities. The best method for eliminating the chance of such cavities is through physical flossing. However, for those with braces, sensitive gums, or close contacts between their teeth, we recommend a combination of AquaClean Duo and Floss Picks (pssst: we make some for braces too!).
Do I need to use string floss if I use AquaClean Duo?
For optimal smile care, it is recommended to include regular flossing in your routine, even if you use a water flosser like AquaClean Duo. However, for smiles with crowding, braces, sensitivity, or other difficulty with string floss, AquaClean Duo is a great solution. Is NanoFloss right for me?
NanoFloss has a thread thickness that is twice the thickenss of standard string floss, like the type used in our Floss Picks and Braces Floss Picks. For this reason, NanoFloss may not be suitable for all smiles.
